Kerry's Political Instincts |
|
I think after watching the convention, the Edwards pick, the primary fight, etc., that Kerry's political instincts seem quite sound. He's not as articulate as Clinton, but otherwise he seems to have some really good strategic sense.
He's no Dukakis or Mondale or Carter, that much is for sure. He's not as slick as Clinton but he's much more politically adroit than Gore. Kerry is pushing back HARD on the whole "Democrats aren't patriotic" slander that the GOP keeps using, and last night he showed that he knows how to attack, forcefully, while remaining optimistic and not going over-the-top.
In short, I've grown to trust and like this man. We all need to do our part, we MUST NOT LET THE PRESSURE UP. We've got to stay strong and motivated at the grassroots. But Kerry has shown himself to be a leader worthy of our trust, in my opinion.
Let's kick some Bush ass.

Last night, John Kerry finally showed me--and, presumably, a lot of other people--why he is eminently qualified to be the next president. Now, let's help him get the job!!!
