Good to see people finally seeing the light |
|
You're way late, but better late than never.
What Hillary Clinton is (and has been) doing is nothing short of despicable. Many of us noticed it months ago, and now I see many more jumping on board. Welcome to the club. It's clear as day that this woman cares only about herself. I knew better than to think that she would drop out any time soon, despite all the hopeful predictions by many here that she had any sort of integrity whatsoever.
Even if the super delegates stand together and declare it over, she will drag this kicking and screaming all the way to the convention. She will whine about Florida and Michigan. She will say super delegates can still change their minds. She will attack Obama, attack Obama, attack Obama, while McCain silently builds his treasury and his base.
Don't bet on her doing the right thing. She won't. And she won't accept the vice presidential spot, either, because she's looking ahead to 2012, and because her fat head gets in the way of such a possibility. If she can't be president, no Democrat can be president!
I will not become complacent. Her continuing to damage the Democratic party is something that cannot be ignored. Unfortunately for Mr. Obama, he is going to have to deal with this nuisance for the next three months in addition to McCain.
No debates between Obama and McCain for the next three months. No vice presidential pick for the next three months. More race baiting, fake outrage, and nonsense for the next three months.
It is going to be extremely long and extremely tiring.

I'm glad that Teddy went home today, and I think being from Mass, and seeing the local news, had me feeling differently. Like the Democratic Party of yore, was still in existence. Then I watched Countdown, and Dan Abrams for the first time tonight in ages. I should know better by now. I am so pissed by the incessant lies, but smearing the Democratic Party like that is just..well..I should know better by now.

|
Edited on Wed May-21-08 09:52 PM by sfam
Surely you don't believe your own logic here. At best you can say that some 50%+ of folks in West VA who voted for Hillary think that, but if all the rest of those who voted for Hillary indicate that they will vote for BO in November (a far higher percentage in most states), it seems to be a fairly obvious conclusion that the vast majority of those who voted don't think he's unqualified.
In other words, just because someone votes for Hillary, it does not mean they belong in the Hillaryis44.com remedial logic class.

The last time it happened was when George Wallace went on tv bragging about his "Southern Coalition".
Look it up, it's in the history books.
Wallace was a Southern racist who was pro-war for Vietnam - McGovern was an anti-war candidate from the mid-west who ran as positive a campaign as he could.
Hillary has done more damage to the Democratic party than she can ever repair. If she runs in New York for re-election as a Democrat, I will support any liberal running against her in the primary!!!
