A reminder. Hillary occupies Bobby Kennedy's Senate seat.. |
|
Edited on Fri May-23-08 04:39 PM by saracat
She has the endorsement of his son RFK Jr, and his eldest daughter Kathleen. And despite what some may think, she and Bill were great friends of the Kennedy's. Jackie in particular , according to Arther Schlesinger was a "close friend of Jackie's".She would never intentionally say anything to hurt that family. I also remind you that as a controversial presidential candidate, as well as Former First lady and Senator, Hillary is in just as much danger as Barack. She is probably in MORE danger as some of the more fervent Obama supporters seem to despise her more than the Clinton supporters despise Barack.

7. Yes, she has already reminded us. She really screwed up big time today. |
|
When Kerry botched a joke, she showed no mercy, didn't gave him a benefit of the doubt. So she will not be accorded any benefit of the doubt either. And she has yet to apologize to Obama, only to the Kennedys. Even though folks (KKK here) here in Georgia have already predicted his death, here in the South.
She now no longer will be the nominee; she is out of the VP race, too. She should be lucky she has that Senate seat.

I said long ago my views were not effected by endorsements. And Ithink this is a vile "twisting" of a statement worthy of Rove. And the "race baiting and lying " have eninated from the Obama Camp and whenever he has been caught, as per memo's, it is blown off. It is digusting to assign any motive to this statement than the intent which was a "time reference".

on who they endorse. I disagreed with General Wes Clark as well as many other Democrats when they endorsed Hillary Clinton. It would never occur to me to call it "unacceptable", because I am not them. But for you to say it is "unacceptable" that John Kerry endorsed Barack Obama really nails my complete bewilderment of your actions and words since that endorsement. How can you judge someone who actually knows Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, has worked with them in the Senate, and knows what their views and character are in a way you never will? John Kerry had every right in the world to endorse whomever he chose, as did John Edwards. For you in your judgmental high horse to sit there and tell an elected U.S. Senator and former presidential nominee that their choice is "unacceptable" shows you do not seem to respect a person's free will to view things their way, not your way. And frankly, you must have buried your head in the sand from Oct. 2006 on not to know that it was HIGHLY UNLIKELY that John Kerry would have endorsed Hillary Clinton. It was I suppose still remotely possible, but it would have surprised me. Edit: And it was also HIGHLY UNLIKELY that John Kerry was going to stay neutral. Why? Because he said in the spring of 2007 that he would be endorsing someone when the time was right. He warned you in every way possible, and yet you ignored what he said, and then were suddenly so surprised when he did endorse someone. Had John Kerry gone and endorsed Hillary, I would have been puzzled and confused, and I would have said I disagreed. But I would never be so arrogant as to say it was "unacceptable", since it is always acceptable for a member of the Democratic party to publicly say who they support for president.

That supporter is drinking the Hillary Kool-Aid. The original post came about because this is what Hillary mentioned during her 'apology', that she occupies Kennedy's NY seat. Why did she mention this in her apology to the Kennedy's? Did they not know this? She's just trying to rationalize her idiocy to the media, that's all.

And are you really justifying this remark by saying that some Obama person might harm her? That is a justification for her remarks? That is a despicable and immoral and unethical thing to say. It is a disgusting argument.
Senator Clinton, lawyer, former First Lady of Arkansas, former First Lady of the United States of America and two-term Senator from the State of New York should know better.
And she is immune to this because she was friends with Jackie Kennedy or because some of RFK's children have supported her? That is one of the most morally bankrupt arguments I have ever heard. Are you going to argue next that what Reverend Hagee said about Hitler was okay because he has some Jewish friends? No, it was not okay, and what Senator Clinton said was not okay no matter who she is friends with or knew in the past. It is simply not okay, period.
Where does it stop? Have you no shame at all?
