I know a lot of people volunteering at the polls today (lawyers, poll watchers etc.), and I want to give a shout out to them, and everyone who is spending their day making sure that ALL AMERICANS can vote.
Yes, we're going to hear a lot about voting problems today, but the majority of poll workers are committed to the right to vote. And that is beautiful.
When I voted in Madison on Friday, the poll workers were amazing. Everything ran smoothly. When the line got longer they called in more volunteers. They used their own laptops to look up voter info. They handed out Halloween candy. The vibe in the place was amazing-- a lot of great Americans committed to making sure that everyone can vote!
