GOP wins 2 governorships, DEM wins 2 house seats - and the MSM says "it's a big night for the GOP?"

The governor races are front and center news with stuff likes "GOP wins big!" or "Dems lose ground!" all up in big letterhead, with the NY-23 race given bare mention and the CA-10 race not even on the front page.

Not to mention the fact that the exit polls showed equal numbers of voters in VA and NJ voted for their candidate to either support or oppose President Obama. The other 60% in both states did not even factor him in.

And this is from the so called "liberal" media - CNN and MSNBC. I'm not even talking about Foxengoebbels.

7. If Howard Dean were still chair of the DNC he would set the media straight

I don't even know anymore who the DNC chair is--I think it's the outgoing VA governor--but when Dean was heading the DNC he was a constant presence on the talking head shows setting them straight. When it comes to getting things done in WA winning two congressional special elections is more important than two governorships.

Or I forgot, they could have cared a crap less about Dems. Whatever. The MSM is losing viewers everyday and more and more people don't pay attention to them. Plus, I think the last time I used AOL was in 1998. Very sad the Rethugs congregate around it but they usually like outdated things.

10. The NJ Dem Governor who lost was not a goodd candidate - the reason

Dems liked him when he ran the first time was he was so rich, he paid millions for his own campaign.

This time, he outspent the GOP winner by several hundred percent, and lost anyway.

Corzine was a Wall Street insider, and an egomaniac, and a lousy governor. I doubt Christie will be anything but bad, but it was not much of a choice.

FWIW, the first time I heard that we won 2 seats in the House was here this morning - it's was NOT on TV at all.

14. So a governor is important

and representatives aren't. Who makes the laws, governors? Half the republicans as governors as screwed up their states so bad it will take 50 years for a democrat to straighten it out.

You would think Virginia would learn by now. After the all out rampage by Allen and Gilmore they had to elect Warren to get them going again. I guess when McDonnell gets thru it will take the democrats three terms( they have a one term limit) to straighten this out, since he really is the butt they say he is.
