Pebblin Warren in a Smackdown! |
|
According to WSFA Montgomery, Pebblin Warren won the 82nd District election by four thousand and some votes to one thousand some. It's a convincing victory, and a surprisingly clean campaign considering the slime that was spread in the other special election. A friend of mine (a great Dem) got a recorded message from Riley, but no smear literature.

I read earlier today that Pat Dye, of all people, had published a strong endorsement for Warren - interesting. More importantly, I know our county Dem club (of which, I believe, you are president-elect!) and the AU chapter (recently named student organization of the year for 2004!) did a LOT of work for her campaign. GREAT WORK, friends!!

3. Mostly Macon and Bullock Counties |

A little bit of Lee County (Loachapoka, West of Auburn) was thrown in to add some Republican votes. Here's a map of the districts: http://www.legislature.state.al.us/house/housemaps/house_districts_2001.pdf
