If Roy Moore becomes governor will you stay? |
|
I come from a seriously Southern Baptist, racist family and they are pulling for him to run. The knowledge that if he runs, he will most likely win freaks me right the hell out and makes me want to run screaming from the state. Just curious as to what ya'll think.

you can take my place in Tennessee if you want to. I'll be back in either Michigan or in Chicago by then. You can stop the bushfire from spreading up north. :-)

"Fleeing to Canada" is for wimps. So is leaving your home.

3. Judge Moore is strong proof that Darwin was wrong. |
|
There's no evolution in him. His public declarations on the Ten Commandments issue was internationally embarrassing and anti-science and anti-intellectual, not to mention, anti-American and unconstitutional.
But he pressed ahead, pigheadedly and so full of himself that what else can he do now BUT run for Governor?
Well, I feel for ya. You can come stay with us until either the voters remove him by referendum or Jesus takes him early.

George Wallace was governor (but not because Wallace was elected).
I moved to Massachusetts. Now Romney, the Mass. Republican governor goes around the country making anti-Massachusetts jokes.
Next I moved to Maryland, and in spite of my best efforts Maryland elected Ehrlich, a Bush clone, governor in 2002.
Now I live in California and I have the Gropinator for governor.
So, I sympathize with the thought that you will probably have Moore for governor, but there are other states with really bad governors as well.

And frankly I don't think Moore's chances of winning are that great. Everyone I know (and I live in a county that is 70% Rep) thinks the man is an embarrassment. They won't vote for him.

But I might have to exercise my God-given right to form a people's militia and arm ourselves with AK-47s and shoulder-launched missiles -- in self-defense, of course.
Either that or I can can launch a new website: www.impeachroymoore.com.

8. Moore Is Going To Pose A Real Threat |
|
People should take this candidacy seriously, Moore will be formidable opposition. Speaking of Wallace, that is what Moore is doing. Wallace first made his name defying a judge, and it is clear that Moore wants to be able to say, "I lost my job standing up for your religious freedom," which to say the least is a load of crap, but it might work nonetheless.
