Saw that bumper sticker on a car yesterday alongside another bumper sticker that said, "Siegelman '06"

that he can't win. I want a winner and Lucy is the best thing we've got. She is much more aligned with the Dem party than Siegelman is as well.
But I'd take Siegelman in a heartbeat over Roy the Boy.

There is no way he can win, that is why he needs to get out and not divide the party. I have no idea why he is doing this. If he wanted to run for something he should have run for Senate last year so we could have a decent showing against Shelby, although he would have lost that to.

I was speaking to someone at the Roosevelt Reception (I don't remember his name, but he was very intelligent) who said that if Lucy beat Don, then she would be seen as a giant killer. I like them both, but I think Lucy has a better chance of beating Riley, and definately a better chance at beating Moore. If Seigleman runs, and Lucy beats him, that gets her momentum going and she'll be unstoppable. If he doesn't run, she can just sit on her war chest and wait until the republican primary is over. Both are good situations to be in, the question is, which is better?
