Anyone interested in a thread listing local AL meetings?

I get a lot of emails with meeting notices, posted several of them a couple weeks ago and no one responded.

If anyone is interested, maybe we could combine those and have one weekly thread running with a list of announcements and local meetings, etc.

Not sure if there is a way to do it here, but maybe we could also keep a permanent post (or page) with a list all the recurring meetings. That way anyone who wanted to participate would have a quick and easy reference.

If anyone is interested in something like that please speak up.

BTW, I'm just curious, you don't have to answer if you don't want to. Are you male or female? I just like to sort of conceptualize who I'm talking to, and I suppose "Kelley" could be either one.

2. I would ask you to request Skinner..

To please put a permanent listing of regular meetings on the CU page. And then we could use the news/info section for the latest updates, fundraisers, rallies, grand openings, etc.

IMHO the CU is a great idea, but it should be more than just an election day bulletin board. We could use it as a campaign resource, I know Skinner is busy (sent PMs to him twice and never got a reply) but heck the thing is more than half built already, we could be doing a lot with it now.

I'd be happy to help if someone would just get the permission to start doing it.

As for the gender, thanks for asking (no one else does!) That’s always been a problem that for a while drove me nuts, but it was the worst when (on his old show) Mike Malloy would read my stuff and say 'she' this and 'she' that.

It bothered me for a long time, until I started a blog and one day mentioned 'my girlfriend' in a post, and during the next week or so got some very 'interesting' emails. Ha Ha!

Yes, a very keen observation on your part, Kelley with two E's means that I am a male.. a guy.

3. good idea...

why not? I'd be more inclined to make an effort to show up to meetings if I had a nice tidy list of all of them in front of me on a website I already frequent.
