Lee County Democrats to Meet Monday 8 August

I apologize for the late notice, but I would like to invite any Dems in the area to come to the Lee County Democratic Club Meeting August 8, at the Best Western in Auburn Dinner at 6:00. program at 7:00. I'm in charge of the program, and asked myself to be the speaker. I'm hoping to set in motion the re-energizing of the membership to become more active at the individual level, raise the visibility of Democrats in the County, and set forces in motion to win in 2006 and 2008. I'm looking for ideas, strategies that have worked elsewhere, and people with energy to get the ball rolling.

The momentum is shifting and we need to get an early start. All are welcome; if you need directions PM me.

I'll look forward to a report and more instructions on how to get involved. Let everyone know I'm sorry I've been missing in action lately, but the new job calls for meetings every other Monday evening, and it conflicts with the Dem Party meetings AND the League of Women Voters meetings. Tell Mrs. Alabama Yankee that I still want to be involved with the LWV - I even paid my dues last meeting!!
