Evacuate. I just heard storm surge of 10 feet. This is truly scaring me and I'm in North Alabama. The meteorologist on CNN is our local ABC affiliate here in Huntsville.

I can't imagine what this will do.

I moved there right after Frederick - we were without power for a week or two. Dauphin Island was pretty much scoured as I remember. Gulf Shores, devastated.

Moved from there a long long time ago but still have fond memories of the place.
