. . . but as a native Alabamian, I wanted to share some good news with the Alabama DU'ers.

I'm Bob Kincaid and I host a liberal, progressive talk show called "Head-On."

The show is re-debuting on Monday, October 24 at 7:06 p.m., Eastern Time. I've even made contact with a couple of stations in North Alabama in hopes of picked up there.

It will stream live through the good offices of the White Rose Society. More information will be available at www.whiterosesociety.org in the coming days.

I'd love to help show the country that the state of my birth isn't a sad, monochromatic Bushevik red.

"For the Record"? If so, let me say that I was deeply impressed by Alabama's progressives and their voice on Public Television when I was last in B-ham.

Nonetheless, I hope you'll give a listen. You might even enjoy having a good southern boy talk progressive politics. I far prefer talking to other normal people, as opposed to the "lecture radio" format that we seem to be trying to copy from the Repiglicans.

It's one of those things I try to explain to folks up here in WV. There's not a whole lot of difference between working folks in WV and North Alabama. The Appalachians are the Appalachians, whether they're 3000 feet high or 300.

I really hope I can get "Head-On" picked up in North Alabama. It's kind of a spiritual quest.
