Tuscaloosa private schools? |
|
My wife and I are fairly new to the area and are considering moving our 3-year-old from a standard daycare to one of the local private schools. We know of the Capitol School, the Catholic school (I don't remember its name--Sacred Heart, maybe?) and Tuscaloosa Academy.
If anyone has any experience with any of these schools, I'd love to hear it.
Many thanks in advance.

1. I have a friend with two boys at capital school and they completely love it |

Her 6yr old is learning violin, her ten year old has already taken some German, Spanish, and Swahili. My partner went to the academy, and liked the one on one attention from teachers and the higher academic standards but the parental politics was a bit much so she transfered out into public school. Both would be fine but Capital school wins out in the range of learning opportunities and smaller class sizes are a plus too.

We've been leaning a little toward the Capital School. Smaller class sizes and a wider range of learning opportunities--that sounds like a winner.
Many thanks!
