Is 4 ounces not enough?

Should the limit of a personal cannabis stash be 16 ounces?

As i understand its still legal to have 4 oz of weed in AK, whether
that is growing plants, and (is the stems and leaves included?@)

I ask, referring to the UK, where new laws propose a 4oz
limit on what is considered a "personal" stash:
