Rick Rydell weekday mornings from 5:40 to 9 on newsradio 650 keni!

and yeah he was disapointed regarding the loss...(our win)...but of course his main impetus is to spin this to enhance the show's ratings...so you won't hear him crying or moaning...i was taunting him just a little bit...but not too much...i didn't want to bash Jack, he was pretty damn gracious in defeat...

Speaking of one of your other employees there Micheal, I talked to your handsome, talented, awesome sports guy Kurt at a hockey function recently and I was begging him to Pleeeeeease take the Aces play-by-play job if Jack Michaels moves on. (Rumor is that Michaels may head to the east coast after this season)

Only thing is.. the Alaska Aces PBP job is full-time, year round.. Kurt just laughed and said it was cool to have such a fan following, but he never said whether he'd ever consider leaving his current gig. Hey, think of it this way.. he'd be doing the play-by-play for a major WINNING team for once!

I dunno though.. he seems pretty happy with what he's doing now.

I agree with you about Jack being very gracious in his defeat!! Very professional, and very complementary to our great mayor. Way to go Jack!

I was thinking he'd go back to the show Aaron Selbig is doing on KUDO, but Aaron mentioned yesterday that instead.. Jack is working with the station on adding TWO new local programs in addition to Selbig's show. WOW!!
