Why most of the bonds failed... |
|
I keep hearing opinons on why the bonds failed. I have to say, honestly, I have not heard anyone say the reason I believe that they failed.
I had to be very picky on which bonds I voted to approve. I did not do this because I did not think that the cause was worthy, I did it because I cannot afford much more.
Yep, despite the fact that I have a good job, and I make a good salary, there is just not a ton of extras around my house anymore.
My gas bill for vehicles to get to and from work and get the kids to school has doubled this last year.
I am essentially making the equivalent of a car payment every month in natural gas bills to heat my house (it would be an expensive car too)
Groceries keep going up and up and up. With three kids to feed, next to my mortgage, my next largest payment is my grocery bill.
Plus, on top of all of this, I got a 1% raise this year, but my insurance premiums went up about 18%.
Sorry guys, if anyone cares, my opinion is you can't get blood out of a rock.
