Windfall Profit Tax in Alaska?

Hello my fellow Alaskans,

I was watching some local MSM, a rare event, and heard a report about Alaska passing a bill that would tax the profits of oil companies who conducts business in the state. Of course the governor and the oil companies are against it.

Any progress on this?
