Mike Miller is taking on Sen. Lisa Murkowski in a new radio commercial on yet another issue aimed at swaying conservatives his way in the Republican Senate primary -- gun rights.
The radio commercial airing statewide criticizes Murkowski's record when she was in the state Legislature, accusing her of trying to limit Second Amendment rights.
In the ad, an unidentified woman says, "Now Lisa talks about her new friends at the NRA. But the fact is she didn't trust you with a gun until she couldn't survive without your vote."
Miller, a conservative from North Pole and the former state Senate president, said in a news release that the National Rifle Association gave Murkowski a "D" rating when she was in the Legislature.
