Ted's conviction on all counts:does this make Mark a lock? |
|
Or is it possible that Ted might get re-elected just because this would rile up the "good 'ol boys" up here?
Whaddya think, campers?

1. The scary thing is that is a legit question |
|
I would like to think that 7 felony convictions would be enough to end his career, but I'm not sure. I know Mark's chances just got a lot better. But who knows. I can't wait till Fagan gets on the air in half an hour to see what his callers think of this.
I think we need to have a Thank You FBI rally this weekend.

2. My guess is the Republicans are hoping to elect Ted |
|
then have him step down afterwards so they can have a special election. I don't think they're going to go down without a fight.

He can still win. The Repugs are calling on the rank and file to come out and "vote the party" not the individual. You can't throw a rock, here in Anchorage, and not hit someone who has not benefited from Uncle Ted's largesse. It's neck and neck right now. We won't know the effects of this conviction for a few days.

4. Ted even helped me out once, |
|
but that doesn't mean I'm going to vote for him. No matter how many good deeds he's done, he shouldn't have assumed that he was above the law.

5. I've never voted for him. |
|
But, I will admit that he's not only helped me, but many people in my family as well. Lot's of native alaskans, have benefited greatly from Ted's stay in the Senate. His good deeds will not be forgotten...nor should they be.
