OCCUPY WASILLA!

UPDATE: PERMIT OBTAINED!!

WHEN: Saturday, Oct. 22nd 11:00am - WHERE: WASILLA LAKE!!!!! We have the park reserved!!

Bring baked goods, snacks , make a dish to share, bring drinks cold/hot (we will have water available)! bring anything to share if you want! you do not have to! EVERYONE is WELCOME! BBQ if you want!!!!! DON'T for get your protest signs!! We will have extras available if needed!! Please feel free to make extras too!! THANK YOU! We are all so very excited about this! It feels right because it is RIGHT!!!

1. And Now What?
What are other small communities in AK doing to further the message/cause of OWS? I have the sense that it is important to do more than gather on the corner. I would like to see local "general assemblies" to discuss and plan further action. How do we on a local level restructure our communities to divorce ourselves from the harmful effects of predatory capitalism? Any ideas?
