6. LOL -- only about some things -- things that don't have to do with people

Since 1979, when we moved from San Francisco to NH -- I've lived in three areas with a snowy cold winter, prior to Alaska: New England (NH & Boston), Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. I'm used to those unexpected last minute storms.

In 1983, we had a last storm in Boston that covered up all the spring flowers on April 9th -- and were into riproaring heat and thunderstorms by May 1st.
