KUDO AM Air America

So it's been on the air for a couple of days now. This is the first time I've heard it...what do you think?
Not just about the Air America programs but about the way KUDO presents it along with it's other programming.

1. so not a lot of people are listening to air America here?

I stopped listening after a week or two. I guess I'll tune in again this morning to see how their doing. I really can't talk too much about how I feel because I work at a competing radio station and I also personally know some of the people involved.
I would love to hear what others might be thinking about KUDO and it's presentation of our favorite liberal radio personalities!

I listen occasionally on line but I'm at work mostly and not able to play much audio other than AM/FM radio. It helps though that at least in Anchorage we have a voice.

I listen to Air America here just about every morning! It's AWESOME having it here!! :headbang:

For those who can't get it on the radio locally, you can also listen to it through their website. Actually.. before it came to Anchorage, someone posted a link from a station in Portland, Oregon that was super easy to just "click and listen" and that's how I tuned in.

There ARE (( lots )) of listeners in the Anchorage and Matsu Valley area. In fact, they are adding local advertisers to their commercials all the time.

Al Franken is on here from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. As soon as his show is over, you have to immediately change the channel though, because Jack Frost x( comes on with his obnoxious show. I know that that station KUDO has added more Air America programs, but I need to drop by their station one of these days and get their on-air schedule. There's at least 2 other Air America shows later in the afternoon; maybe more?

cleofus, are you at KENI radio? If so.. I am a huge Kurt Heider (sp?) fan (when he's doing play-by-play for the Seawolves Hockey team!) He does an incredible job!! I just wish the *&^$@ team would win more games so he could scream his head off like he does!

What's up with that :o ?!?

If you're a producer, can't you add some balance to the format? I have to admit, I only tune into that station when the hockey games are on. But geez.. unless you're a Bush-lovin' freeper, what else does it have to offer (besides hockey).

Is KENI catering to only one segment of the community or something? If so, WHY?? Are they afraid their Rydell listeners will rebel and will stop listening to the station period?

KUDO just added the Ed Shultz show to their Air America line-up which is awesome!

C'mon cleo.. insert some sanity between some of those neo-nerd shows you have on there!! GAG!!!

i have nothing to do with the format. and i have no pull or power with the corporation. i am not a boss nor do i have any say in what people do. a producer is not a producer like a movie producer or a record producer. essentially i do engineer work. i push buttons. please don't hate me for earning a living. the morning show is the number one radio program in anchorage. number one...i can't speak to programming or editorial decisions regarding the radio station (that is a firing offense)... but i will say that there are liberals working here (i am one of them)...
