After careful consideration |

Phoenix is the greatest city in the world! Yes, we have our problems, but....... we don't have hurricanes, we don't have earthquakes, tornadoes are at a minimal but rare, floods are rare, actually if they occur it is outside of Phoenix, we don't have ice storms or snow storms, we don't have 0 temps. we don't have mudslides, forest fires are out of the Phoenix area. I don't like the heat but after careful consideration, Phoenix is the safest and best city to live.
We do have our problems but our problems are nothing compared to cities in other states.

we do have water problems, but I am still happy to live in Phoenix. and yes, we can cook eggs on the sidewalk 7 months out of the year which might be a little exaggeration.
When did we have a hurricane, earthquake, typoon, mudslides ice storm, snow storm, ice storms, and floods(in Phoenix) last? We have suffered the heat and drought that is it. Maybe a water warning the other day, but that is the worst.
The greatest problem we face in Phoenix is the rpukes.

9. About the tornadoes... |
|
We spent a good part of Saturday afternoon under a tornado warning. This is the 2nd one in a month. Sounds like they're becoming a little less rare here.
Actually I do remember snow in the city a couple of times. There was even a picture in the paper a few years back showing a little bitty snowman somebody built after a "snowstorm". Still I'll take Phoenix over any other city.
BTW I'm a 38 year Phoenix native and a newbie to DU.

looks like we're having an influx of new Arizonans here-- good sign for this state's future.
