Stragedy to winning Arizona. |

Split Maricopa/Pimal County and win Pima/Coconino Counties but 3 - 2 margin.
Every other county: Cochise, Santa Cruz, Yuma, La Paz, Mohave, Graham, Gila, Apache and Navajo don't really matter into state politics.
Only Coconino, Pinal, Pima and Maricopa count.
Problem is, Maricopa is home to the fucking rube Joe Arpaio, and those tools up there love him, which shows how much Maricopa County is a border-line Nazi County.
Sorry, Maricopa County DUers, but your Republican neighbors are Nazis.

in the east valley.
Also, historically, Democratic margins of victory have come from the counties you say don't really matter to state politics.

2. Your second point is right on, NB. Bad idea to write them off. |

NW corner of the state, the Navajo/Apache reservations, is rock-solid blue and they really get out the vote everytime.
I'm an ex-Pinal County resident (Coolidge) and Pinal is growing by leaps and bounds and will stay historically blue, I'm fairly certain. What's different this time is the population increase--Pinal County is a BIG factor.
Napolitano's made an effort to reach the more rural counties; that should swing many of them in our favor.
Kyl is vulnerable--believe it.
