Hi Arizona friends. Re: Hayworth opponent: Could you please post |
|
the latest info on who is challenging him? WIth his asinine pronouncement about child citizenship this week, I would like to actively support his opponent. Thanks!

3. Harry Mitchell has his kickoff rally |
|
on Wednesday (as has already been posted) and with Larry King dropping out of the Democratic primary, the general election will be Hayworth vs. Mitchell.
Unless, of course, our good congressman gets himself indicted before then. ( :) at that thought.)

There's a lot of Dems around here - I live in Leg. District 17.
AKA - the ASU district. :)
Good luck with dumping Shadegg!

7. It's a big district... |

Maybe not yet...just beginning to get involved. I've been to one D17 Dems meeting, but that was in January. It meets on Tuesday nights at the same time as a class I am taking.
And since I paid for the class, that sort of takes priority, temporarily anyway. :) I'll start up again in June.
I will be at the Mitchell kickoff rally Wednesday. And been letting people know about it. Hope there's a good turnout.
On a side note - I wonder if Hayworth realizes how much trouble he's in. This is just anecdotal evidence, but I work with a pretty good mix of people (some conservative, some liberal, etc.).
Turns out that conservative people I disagree with on a lot of issues agree with me on one thing - JD makes us all gag.
G'night!!

12. His vote is already in my bag. |

He was campaigning years ago and played a game of pool with my boyfriends ASU frat. A really down to earth, non politician type politico.
