Disabled voters will have touch-screen machines to cast ballots on but a vocal contingent warns those machines are disasters waiting to happen.
The Pima County Board of Supervisors voted 3-1 to use Diebold TSX voting machines for the primary and general elections.
The TSX machine has been criticized nationally for being susceptible to hacking and technical failures.
Supervisors didn't have much choice because Arizona Secretary of State Jan Brewer chose the machines for the county. The county already uses Diebold optical scan machines.
