My friend has a son in high school and they will be doing an early ballot. They will be in Tucson for the regionals or state and need to vote and hence the early voting.

2. Yes...here in Pima county early voting started on 10/5 |
|
The closest early voting place in my area started 10/11.
Also on this year's ballot is #205 which would require all future elections to be by mail only.

6. Aren't you still able to take the early ballot to any polling place election day? |
|
That is my understanding.

8. Mail in ballots can be returned election day |
|
Early voting sites are open tomorrow, but not on Monday. Early voting is a little different from a mail-in ballot. You can go to the local County Recorder's Office and vote there until 5:00 pm Friday (allow time to complete the very lengthy ballot).
I noticed that an article in today's Arizona Republic reports that the Post Office is telling people to mail their ballots by Saturday in order for them to arrive in time. Personally, I reccomend that at this point, mail-in ballots be taken directly to the County Recorder's office instead of counting on the mail.
