Very happy about Mitchell/Janet/Goddard tho.

After seeing the 8,000 (some papers said 10,000) who attended the Pedersen/Clinton rally in Tucson last week, I thought Arizona might pull it off.

I'm sure he wanted to give the issue careful consideration before taking a stance but there was a lot of criticism leveled against him for that. Obviously, the war emerged as the most important issue in this election and most of our candidates didn't seem to want to address it directly. It made a lot of Dems ambivalent about Jim from the beginning and that's unfortunate.
