The Million Geezer March for Human Freedom and Human Dignity

March to demonstrate to the Arizona Legislature the belief that Arizonans have the right to decide their own choices at the end of their life.

The Million Geezer March represents over 3 million people of voting age in Arizona who want the right to ease pain and suffering in the end stages of terminal illness, including the right to hasten the dying process with medical assistance if one so chooses. Polls have consistently shown that 2/3 of the population favors such legislation. The Arizona Legislature, in denying hearings for such bills in recent years, is out of touch with its constituents. We want a hearing!

It is not a privilege we are seeking – it is a fundamental right of self-determination. Nobody has the right to make end of life decisions for us – not the State, not the Legislature, not the Medical Association, nor any other entity or person. Only individuals have the inalienable right to make such decisions for themselves, within the context of their own faith.
