Friends,
Yesterday, Congressman John Shadegg showed once again just how out of touch he is with Arizona.
In a radio interview, Shadegg re-affirmed his commitment to supporting the agenda of the big oil and gas companies by commenting to KTAR that he wants to open up the United States for more big oil drilling. He also told the Arizona Republic that he wants to continue the billions of dollars in subsidies to those same oil and gas companies that fund his campaign.
As oil prices spike to $119 per barrel, and middle class families pay more at the pump than ever before, Representative Shadegg has continued to protect huge subsides for his oil industry buddies, who do nothing to make our nation energy independent or solve the climate crisis.
We shouldn't be surprised with his behavior because Shadegg has taken hundreds of thousands of dollars from the oil, gas, and energy industries over the years.
The Arizona Republic just covered my family's personal commitment to solar energy - here is a link to the article:

Please take a minute to forward this email to at least one friend and encourage them to go to our Web site and join our campaign for change: lord2008.com
