I was asked for party affiliation this morning when I voted |
I can never remember being asked that at the General Election. I asked why and the kind lady at the table did not know the answer. So, I declined to state my party affiliation, since in a General Election that should be none of their damned business. I was given a ballot with a red stripe in the top right corner of the ballot. There were 4 different piles of ballots on that table. After, I thought, maybe to track how many party crossover votes there are. Then, I thought, maybe I should have answered Rethug, voted Democratic and I would have been one of those crossover votes. Make sense?

1. You should report that to 1877azvotes. |
They should not ask that.

2. Only during the Primary Election |
should you be asked for your Party affiliation, not the General Election. And there should only be one ballot. Provisional Ballots are regular ballots placed in a manila envelope with a form attached. Indeed something funny is going on here.

is that she went to the training for the primary but skipped the session for the general election. There are three type of ballots on election day - regular, provisional and conditional. I'm pretty sure that early ballots are the same as the regular ballots.
