Oddly enough, I didn't find this article the least bit alarming or depressing. I knew what the future held in store way back when they told me that all we had to do to solve our water problem was to tap into the mighty, infinite Colorado River! Hell, it's only 336 miles away! We'll just, you know, dig a canal! And no, NO this is NOT the feeble, last-ditch, desperate attempt to delay the inevitable that it appears to be!
