OK I am going to endorse a Republican but here is why

Jerry D. Walker is running for re-election to the Maricopa Community Colleges Governing Board. He is a vile and comtemptable person and a religious and right wing extremist who has abused his position, and has brought shame and harm on this group. He has an opponent in Dana Saar who I have also had the chance to talk with and look into his background and standing in the field of education. Dana, while a Republican is one of those who doesn't let his political views get in the way of his strong belief in education and has some very impressive people who endorse him. I believe he will be a good member of the board based on his record and my interview with him.
