Starky's gonna win this thing! Met him yesterday at our Open House |
|
I'm telling you, the man's gonna beat McCain. He's doing it all with his own campaign, with virtually no help from the AZ Democratic Party.
He came to our Open House yesterday and was awesome. He really connects with ordinary people. Stayed for TWO hours, even though he had to drive to Tucson (he'd been to Munds Park earlier the same day--WHEW!).
Debate dates:
October 15: Phoenix October 18: Phoenix October 24: Flagstaff
I think the October 18th date will be on C-Span.
One of the Phoenix dates (I believe the 15th) has been pulled by the McCain campaign; when you see/meet/hear Stu, it will be very apparent why--he'll kick his ass.
This guy's a winner.

1. mccain is up for re-election? |
|
I had no idea he was campaigning..That would be great if someone could beat him. Sounds like those students in South Phoenix have been fortunate to have him as their instuctor. http://www.starkyforsenate.com/

2. He's campaigning all right, but NOT in Arizona. |
|
Starky's doing this pretty much on his own, too; but he's doing a helluva good job.
South Phoenix is the poorer area of Phoenix, too--they are really fortunate to have him.
Starky's a New Yorker too--I told him yesterday he'll represent the Phoenix area well for that reason!
Even if he doesn't win, we'd like to see a nice tight race for McCain so he'll start caring about Arizona.
I think we'll definitely get our second wish (the tight race). Send us your prayers, karma, spells, what have you--we'll gladly take it, since McCain is a pox on the entire nation!
