Heirloom plant and organic seed sale Apr. 5 near Deer

Herb Culver, environmental activist and seed saver for years, is holding an open house at his greenhouse where he sells open pollinated seedlings. He also has heirloom seeds for sale. The open house will be from 9-3pm, with refreshments served. He asks that you bring boxes to take your plants home in, and also to bring any old pots you have to put in a pile to exchange with others (clean pots only). He'll be explaining how to obtain seeds from various plants and how to preserve them so that they can be used for planting the next year.

Directions to the sale: From Harrison-Take AR 7 south to AR 16 W to Deer. Go past Deer and Nail. Follow signs from highway to greenhouse.

From Fayetteville-take AR 16 east to Swain. Look for signs just before you reach Nail.

From Russellville-Take AR 7 north to AR 16 W to Deer. Go past Deer and Nail. Follow signs.

From Yellville, Marshall, and points east--get to Harrison and follow directions from there.
