Has the state gotten more conservative?

The state posts some of Obama's worst numbers.

Have Arkansas voters become sharply more conservative over the past few years? Or do they just hate Obama for racial and cultural reasons? Do people still like Bill Clinton? I know early polls had Hillary winning the state against McCain (whether that would have held in November of '08, who knows?).

Arkansas Tech, so it's hard to say. Most of my friends are liberal, and those that aren't, aren't too bright. I'm not trying to be arrogant, but I take every argument they make and destroy it. It's to a point where I think most of them are "republican" just out of stubbornness, or b/c their family is.

2. They hate Obama for racial and cultural reasons. Still like the Clintons.

I've lived for periods of years in 7 states and spent more than 6 months in about 3 others. This is by far the most racially bigoted place I've ever seen.

I think they proved that last November. Only one other state had a higher percentage of McCain votes.
