House Bill 1360 passes...requiring electronic voting machines

to have "a voter-verified paper audit trail." The Arkansas House passed the bill 79-5 and it will now go to the Senate.

1. If voter-verified is actually what it sounds like, this would be an

outstanding move toward reforming the now corrupt and invalid election system in the U.S. Let's keep an eye on this.

2. Here's what I hope the system is...

When you vote, you recieve a printed ballot that you review to make sure it is correct. After verifying it, you place it in the ballot box. The electronic machines can be used as a count (mostly useful in states that won't be close), but if any candidate requests a hand recount then they should be allowed one.
