If Clark Ran, Would AR Vote For Him? |
|
I tend to think that AR would. It is a Democratic state...
6 votes may not seem like much, but we all know what they can mean in close elections.
I want your gut feeling btw.

I was asking if the 54% that voted for Bush would vote for Gen Clark.

5. Any dem should be able to win Arkansas |
|
It really isn't all that red and there's certainly the advantage of a strong dem establishment there and the fact that it's Clinton's home state. I think that Clark could win there if not make it a solid blue state. Only one Democrat has ever won a presidential election without carrying the state of Arkansas... Andrew Jackson in the elections of 1828 and 1832. And Arkansas didn't become a state until 1836.
