Where is a good place to live in Little Rock? |

With two high school students? We are relocating there and don't know where to start. The office will be downtown near the river.
A neighborhood with progressives and a good high school would be great.
Thank you.

1. Try Hillcrest neighborhood |
|
Hillcrest is the most progressive neighborhood in Little Rock. I think the HS is either Hall High School or Central HS. If your kids are good students, they should try to get in Central's AP or honors program, which usually has more National Merit Scholars than any other HS. Hillcrest housing is somewhat pricey per sq. ft. than some others, but the houses and neighborhood have a lot of character - good shops and restaurants. Plus, the area is centrally located - you can get downtown in 10 minutes or maybe less.
Welcome to LR.

Is it still lonely, or have you changed your mind since you've chosen your username?
