City Owned Utilities in Central Valley is Possible

The Central Valley Progressive PAC meeting will feature a presentation by Mark Toney, Executive Director of TURN*, speaking on why Proposition 16 (which would make it more difficult for local governments to establish local utility districts) needs to be defeated. The CVPPAC, wanted this to be a debate, but could not find a spokesperson willing to speak in favor of prop 16. While PG&E, the primary backer of prop 16, is willing to spend millions of our dollars to pass this initiative, it is reveling that nobody could be found to participate in this public debate. Find out what the YES ON 16 campaign does NOT want you to know about. Come to this important presentation, which will be held at the Fresno Center for Nonviolence, 1584 N. Van Ness Ave., Fresno.
