KFCF Benefit concert Sunday Oct 3rd at 5:00 PM at Audies Olympic Tavern at 1426 N Van Ness Ave in Fresno with Good Medicine and Glen Delpit. $10 admission benefits KFCF. Debbie and Frank Sipes are Good Medicine. An acoustic/electric duo playing a wide variety of music, from originals to covers, blues, rock, folk and more. We have played all over the west coast of the U.S. and Canada in every sort of venue from cafes and coffee houses, to brewpubs to night clubs to concerts, also radio and TV. Since 1993 we have been on the road as Good Medicine. Deb plays acoustic and electric guitars and vocals. Frank Sipes plays basses, tin whistle, percussion and vocals.
Born in New Orleans , living in California , Glen Delpit has been mining the roots of American Music for more than 35 years. His music covers a wide spectrum of pre-war blues from Willie McTell to Robert Johnson. His original songs have been described as literate and poetic and can take their place with the finest American songwriters. He has opened for many American Music legends such as John Lee Hooker, Leon Russell, Brownie McGhee, Pinetop Perkins, Katie Webster and many, many others.
