Thanksgiving At proud patriot's house !

Hi everyone . I hope this finds you all well . If any Local DUer needs a family to
spend Thanksgiving with know that you can spend it with mine .

I know 1 DUer who is looking for a ride from the south bay to my place here in the east bay.

Anyone intersted in car pooling?

You know I love you, but a 15-minute bus ride sounds a lot better than an arduous journey up to Concord.

Is there any way I could get up there before Spring? :(

5. Hi, Proud Patriot! Just catching up with the California forum.

My DH, Brother Buzz, our son, and dog were just meeting a bunch of relatives at Golden Gate Park the day after Thanksgiving, and driving by that meadow near the Polo Field we were reminded of the fun DU picnic in 2002 (!) It doesn't seem that long ago, but I know it was because our now 10-year-old dog was newly adopted and still a bit skittish- when I took her out of the car on her leash she almost backed out of her collar into traffic.
We'll have to plan another Bay Area picnic when the weather is balmy again!
