Got our Salazar yard sign last night!

A lovely volunteer called me last night about voting for Salazar. I asked where I could get a yard sign. Since she lives in Edgewater, she said she'd be right over with one. We're in north Lakewood. I said I'd come pick it up but she insisted she's be over soon. 15 minutes later I was sticking the sign in the ground. And no one stole or defaced it overnight!

I live in a covenant-protected community - we can only display yard signs within two weeks of the General Election.

2. We live in north Lakewood

It's an older suburb. I don't know what I'd do if we got into a new house will all the rules. This is sort of a live and let live area with campers in driveways. People only get their shorts in a knot if a property gets out of hand. At least you can have a sign before the election and you could always hang out in front of your house wearing a politcial tee shirt!

Speaking of which - I was driving out of the library parking lot this afternoon and saw a lady wearing a "Let's send Bush packing" tee. So I stopped and told her it was great. Her face lit up and she rmeinded me to vote. She was such a sweetie. Things are looking up!
