INFO: This is a wine & cheese fund raiser for 4 races: John Kerry/John Edwards, Ken Salazar, Stan Matsunaka and Bob Bacon. It is being hosted by three couples - a democratic, a republican and an independent couple. Let's break bread together and toast to economic sanity, scientific and educational sanity, national sanity and international sanity. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for the four races. Please come and give what you can. Send a donation or donate by computer if you cannot attend. We can make a difference and we can have fun doing it. Local candidates or their representatives will be in attendance.

The last-named candidate may bot be familiar to all of you. Bob is going up against Fort Collins mayor Ray Martinez (who has name recognition but little else going for him; he'd be a dreadful Republican rubber stamp) for the Colorado Senate seat vacated by our wonderful but term-limited Peggy Reeves. Bob has served in the Colorado legislature before and is an impassioned advocate of quality education in our state.
