Letter I Just Sent to the Pueblo Chieftain

The Chieftain has apparently endorsed a crook over a good Democrat, and it looks like they did because he has an (R) after his name. I just submitted the following letter to their web site - we'll see if they have the balls to print it. - Wayne

To the Editor -

An item I received in the mail seriously calls into question the Cheftain's endorsement of Keith Swerdfeger for District 47 Representative.

According to the Alliance for Colorado Families, Swerdfeger raided his company's Health & Welfare trust Fund and gave $1.5 million to a convicted felon. Swerdfeger is currently being sued by the Department of Labor, and has been sued a dozen times by OSHA for serious safety violations (http://www.osha.gov/pls/imis/establishment.html).

In my opinion, this is not the kind of person who should be representing District 47. I have already cast my vote to re-elect Buffie McFadyen, and I urge my neighbors in District 47 to do likewise.
