My House District Rep resigned two weeks ago. |
|
I went to a meeting of the Jefferson County Democrats. While there, I read an article in the local paper and heard from the Democrat who ran for my house district that the Republican representative of the district resigned. My Rep's name was Don Lee. He wanted to resign after the last legislative session last year. But the Republicans wouldn't let him. They made him run for his seat again. The Democrat tried to get the word out but it fell on deaf ears because it is a Republican area. But anyway, Mr. Lee ran and won but then resigned effective New Years Day. So, the county Republicans appointed a new rep to the district named Jim Kerr. Mr. Kerr said that he thinks of politics as a hobby. Mr. Kerr is needless to say a Republican. How annoying, I must say.

One guy talked about staging a recall because we didn't even elect Mr. Kerr.
