Water Law Expertise Request Snubbed - Bush's SCOTUS Choice Roberts

Of course it is not surprising that Bush snubbed both Salazar and Allard's request for a justice nominee that had western water law knowledge, in favor of an inside-the-beltway, right-winger, but it would be nice to point this out in some local LTTEs, along with some other info about the errors of the choice.

Does anyone on the Colorado forum want to exchange some ideas for such a letter? Maybe a few of us could submit LTTEs to the Denver Post and Rocky Mt. News?

Thoughts?
