Vandal Smashes Windows At Democratic Party Office

Police got a call at about 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday about the damage. Large windows at the Santa Fe Drive office were smashed, possibly with a hammer.

Glass was all over the sidewalk.

After a quick chase, officers were able to arrest a suspect. Democratic party officials said they think the vandalism is in reaction to the heated health care debate.

5. a couple of weeks ago I was standing in that very office talking to somebody

while the usual First Friday crowds streamed past the windows. I began to notice that certain people were pointing at us through the windows and laughing. I saw one group take their obvious liberal scapegoat and try to shove him through the door. "Go on in there, JR, that's where you belong! Har har har"

Denver is a bit liberal, but it was really chapping my hide to watch those morons treat our offices like we were freaks in the circus.

No hint of a right-wing agenda in what's publicly available that I've seen (as of 7:15 pm), apart from bashing his local dem HQ. There is a history of affiliation with progressive causes, however, and is conceivably left enough that his disappointment with the dems, "his own", pissed him off.
