Military aircraft over Aurora, CO |
|
Rarely are military aircraft seen in the skies over the Denver metro area but today a relative who lives in Aurora reported that a number of F16s and one stealth fighter flew low over his house.
Anyone know what the occasion is?
P.S. the relative does not take drugs.

Lowry AFB was in Denver/Aurora until 1994. My Dad, in the Army Air Corps, was posted there during WWII. I can remember sitting on our front porch on Emerson and watching all the planes go overhead, Dad telling my older brother what kind of planes they were. Early 1950s, I'm thinking. It's actually reassuring that military overflights are no longer commonplace.
