CO symphony to stop summer free concerts. So why do we still have to pay taxes to the SCFD?

Obviously the Colorado Symphony has a right to start charging for few concerts they once offered for free, but they no longer have the right to take SCFD money! The people expect something in exchange for the taxes we pay for this district. Time to end this tax!

no organization that takes SCFD money should charge for any of their events.

I thought the argument for the SCFD was to ensure the continued existence of valued organizations that would otherwise fold.
